Scoped access
Only the sources, records, and actions required for the process.
Security and control
AI systems should operate within explicit permissions, approval boundaries, and business rules. Material actions should remain visible and attributable. Access must be revocable, workflows stoppable, and recovery or rollback designed where the underlying system permits it.
Cybersecurity experts are part of the Second Mind team, not consultants brought in at the end. They work at every level of implementation, from discovery to operation, alongside seasoned security advisors.
See the controlsCustomer control
Each system is designed around the people who own the operation, the information it may access, the decisions it may influence, and a clear way to stop or reverse it.
Only the sources, records, and actions required for the process.
Review what the system proposes before consequential action occurs.
Evidence, recommendations, approvals, changes, actions, and outcomes remain reviewable.
Disablement, disconnection, export, deletion, version rollback, reconciliation, and manual fallback are designed for the selected workflow and the capabilities of the connected systems.
These four are the foundation, not the whole list. Every engagement adds the controls its process needs: data handling and retention, how providers are used, operator access, incident contacts, backup and recovery, and prohibited uses, all agreed with you before anything touches production. Ask about a specific control
Boundaries
Models handle bounded interpretation where language, ambiguity, and context matter. Deterministic software retains permissions, policy, workflow state, validation, and limits. A person remains responsible wherever the consequence of error is material.
Start with the operation
We define the access, approvals, safeguards, and operating boundaries before a system enters production.
